Create Script Breakdown
Script Breakdown on Web View
Click on the “Add New” button in the “Shooting Script” section of the main menu.
Select Screenplay
A list of existing screenplays opens. Select the screenplay you want to create a breakdown for.
Customize Scenes
A customization box opens. Click on the down arrow on the right of each scene for details on the scene. Manage, edit, and delete the scenes accordingly, then click “Next.”
Select Characters
Select the characters you want in the breakdown. You can also edit them by clicking on the edit icon. Click “Next.”
Manage Sets
Manage the sets of scenes and their titles. Click “Next.”
Review Summary
Check the summary of the breakdown, and click “Back” to edit any sections again. Once finished, click “Create.”
Access Breakdown
The breakdown is created. Access it by clicking on the “Breakdown” option in the top left of the four parts.
Script Breakdown on Mobile View
- Click on “Add Breakdown” button in the “Breakdown” section.
- Select Screenplay and click “Continue”.
- Check scenes you want to add to the breakdown, and click on the scene to edit or remove. Then click “Next”.
- Select the characters you want to add to your script breakdown, and click on “edit” icon to customize the characters. Click “Next”.
- Edit the sets and their titles if required and click “Next”.
- Check the summary and click “Done”. This will create the script breakdown for the screenplay you selected.
